Admission Procedure

At Montessori Island School, we welcome children ages 19 months through 14 years, regardless of gender, race, religion, or national origin.

We accept enrollment inquiries year-round. When a classroom is full, prospective students may be placed on a waitlist. Enrollment is generally offered based on availability and the order in which completed interest forms are received. Because classroom space is limited, some programs may fill quickly.

1. Submit a Student Interest Form

To inquire about enrollment, please email admin@montessoriisland.com to request a Student Interest Form.

Once the completed form is returned, we will review current classroom availability. If space is available, your child may be offered enrollment and invited to tour the school. If the appropriate classroom is full, your child may be placed on our waitlist.

2. Tour the School

When enrollment space is available, families will be offered an opportunity to tour Montessori Island School, see the classroom environment, and learn more about our Montessori programs.

3. Complete Registration

Families accepting an enrollment offer must complete the required registration forms and pay a non-refundable $125 registration fee. The registration fee is charged annually for all enrolled families.

4. Submit Required Documents

Registration materials include health and parent information forms, the School Policy Handbook, and the school calendar. Current immunization records or applicable exemption documentation must be submitted before your child's first day of school.

Financial Assistance Resources

Montessori Island School recognizes that tuition is a significant consideration for families. Families seeking financial assistance may wish to explore outside scholarship and childcare assistance programs for which they may be eligible.

• Best Beginnings Child Care Scholarship: Administered through the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS). Eligible families may apply throughout the year. Please visit the DPHHS website for current eligibility requirements and application information.

• ACE Scholarships: Montessori Island School is a participating ACE Scholarship school. Applications are generally submitted during the school year prior to the year for which assistance is requested. The deadline is typically April 15. Families should review ACE's current requirements and deadlines each year.
